Vintage Stained Glass Kaleidoscope,"Series 2" In Pastels By Artist Bob Mc Williams. Bob made kaleidoscopes in the 1980s thru approx. 2003. Bob made many series of wonderful interchangeable kaleidoscopes such as this model with a built in tray for holding more goodies for changing in and out. This was and still is considered one of the ultimate interchangeable kaleidoscopes. This kaleidoscope was acquired from a private collection and is in wonderful like new condition with no issues or problems to the stained glass or wooden base. Bob did construct this kaleidoscope out of stained glass and wood and used copper foil stained glass methods to construct the glass portions of this kaleidoscope. His work is sought after be collectors and in 30 years of working with kaleidoscopes I have rarely seen one of these come back up for sale. Wonderful Pastel Exterior on this model.

Dimensions are Scope = 11 3/8 inches long by approx. 2 1/4 inches in diameter. The wooden base is approx. 11 3/8 inches long by 6 5/8 inches wide. The wood seems to be a light mahogany. Wonderful near mint condition.
