Color Spirit Kaleidoscope, "Northern Lights" By Kaleido Co. This beauty is made of acrylic and has a colorful vinyl Northern Lights-themed exterior wrap. The object cell does indeed turn separately - another great value at this price point. A Fantastic Colorful Image is inside(2 Mirror 6 Point Star image) thanks to its Femo Clay filled OIL Cell. Vibrant and Colorful beads and lampworking also float through medical grade mineral oil in front of the black background in the object cell. It also has a dust cover which is opened and closed with the switch by the eyepiece. This scope is a great value! We are excited about this scope by the Color Spirits!!!

5The Northern Lights kaleidoscope is exactly what I was looking for when I remembered my childhood playing with my very first kaleidoscope for days on end. Of course it was a cheap one but as a child I was in total awe. Nearly 60 years later I looked through the exactly same make and understood why children live in a world of magic. All the fascination was gone in the meantime. But my first look through the Northern Lights brought all that magic back in a second. To me it is a masterpiece of art. Colors, amazing crystals, beautiful trinkets flow elegantly in stunning formations. Creating in slow motion pictures of sheer beauty even after stopping the rotation for a while. Pictures and videos don't do justice to the amazing lights when looking into this wonderful kaleidoscope. There are no words to describe this beauty. Use it in midday sunlight or in the evening with a close lamp. The variations and color tones never end. It is handmade by Karl Schilling who knows how to craft and create a masterpiece. Buy one; I promise you won't be disappointed!
