This extraordinary kaleidoscope showcases the glass skills of Peggy and Steve. The exterior is incredible dichroic glass with a matte finish with exciting wavy lines that make the dichroic layers very dynamic on the exterior. The interior object cell is filled with dichroic lamp worked glass pieces by Peggy Kittelson. The 2 mirror has a wide angle that creates a gorgeous 5 point star image. With the wider angle, more detail of the lamp worked pieces is visible within the mandala. Peggy and Steve sign this kaleidoscope by etching into the black acrylic on the end of the eyepiece. Dimensions are approx 10 1/2 inches long by 2 3/8 inches in diameter. Walnut stand is approx 7 inches long by 2 1/2 inches wide with black suede lining and suede on the bottom of the base.
