Front Surface Glass Mirror For Kaleidoscopes 3 Strips 6 5/16 inches long
This is sold as a 3 strip set enough to make one kaleidoscope mirror system with Quality Super A Quality Highly reflective glass substrate Aluminum Coated mirror. Yes, we have protective spray on the surface of the mirror to protect the Aluminum Coating from Dulling.
• Each Piece of Mirror is approx 6 5/16 inches long by 1 5/64 inches wide or in decimal x 1 5/64 or (ranging from 1.066" to 1.069") .
• (In Metric 27.1526 MM wide)
•When all 3 are taped together the 3 pieces of Mirror Slides well into any tubing 1 3/4 inches in outside diameter with an interior opening of at least 1 1/2 inside dimensions.
•There is no absolute perfect front surface mirror so if you have concerns about specific tolerances, please email us your specifications or tolerances.
•This grade of mirror is perfect for kaleidoscopes But may not be right for high tolerance needs used in optical machines.
• Sold in sets of 3 Qty
Each Mirror is approx Thickness of .0485 inches or under 1/16th of an inch. Precise thickness is 1.25 mm.
A Plus Quality Front Surface Mirror Zero Tint.
Please note these strips of mirror do have A clear coating protecting the front surface you must peel off from the corner this clear film from all 3 mirrors.

Great to have an Acrylic Option4I love the lightweight feel of these and for me this size was perfect. They work great and were labeled with the front side which was helpful.

Love this Product5I'm super happy with the mirrors I got form Kaleidoscopes to You. I think I slightly prefer the glass since it's slightly more scratch-resistant but both the acrylic and glass were nice.
Pros:Beautiful crisp image
Cons:They didn't label the front side on the glass so I had to sort of puzzle it out. Front surface mirrors, in general, scratch easily so be careful

Service beyond 5 stars!5I needed a custom size front surface mirror to refurbish a high quality 8 MM home movie editor that is over 40 years old. I searched online for a source but the companies I found had minimum orders many times higher than the value of the editor or wouldn't cut a custom size.
Then I found Kaleidoscopes to You! I contacted Karl and explained what I needed; he graciously offered that if I purchased one of his 3 piece front mirror sets he'd cut pieces to my specifications. He even sent some spares! And, his company was quick!
