This Kaleidoscope is different from many kaleidoscopes because of its acrylic barrel. It is a tube of optical Quality acrylic and the eye piece is located at the opposite end of the wheels. You simply look through the eye piece hole and into the barrel. Then it creates a marble like image that swirls. At the end you see the wheels that made the swirly colorful image. The wheels are connected to the scope and do not come off. The stand is also fastened on to the kaleidoscope, and it is one less piece for you to keep track of. The other parts are made of brass and colorful beads and glass. The artist is from Israel and enjoys making these colorful scopes for you to enjoy.
