Fantastic colors within this Corki Weeks Kaleidoscope. Horse Feathers /Fandango captures the cool spring colors of aquas and silvers and warms it with just enough magentas and golds to make a really fantastic oil filled object cell and image. The 6 point star image is a knock out/home run thanks to some of Corki's magic. She has masked off part of the object cell with black which creates a neat geometric overlay that changes as you turn the object cell. Look at the borders of the different interior images and you can see black border changes. You cannot go wrong with this selection from Corki Weeks. Simple brushed chrome fittings at the eyepiece and object cell compliment the black wrap with mylar ovals that is under the clear tube cylinder that holds the magical mirror system.
These were hand picked by the owners Karl and Jean Schilling during a Summer Visit to Corki Weeks Studio in 2014.
