This kaleidoscope is a Unique Model made in the mid to late 1970s and features lovely exterior. and unique Ball Chamber design.

My first kaleidoscope was a red Wonder Wheel ( the late 1960s- 1970 Era) I was born in 1966.

So naturally, I have collected these over the years. I do know quite a bit of History of the Herman Missouri Factory and visited with Mr. Ford at the factory who loved kaleidoscopes himself. The toy line was named after a son named Steven. I did visit before and after the Herman Missouri factory flooded in the late 1990s.

I used to spend a lot of time in antique stores looking for kaleidoscopes. Often the Steven Pixie Sticks boxes would get me excited but alas no kaleidoscope. Maybe you can relate to this search for kaleidoscopes if you are a collector of toys.
