Vintage Shiny Chrome Kaleidoscope, "Lucida With Wooden Base " By Van Cort Instruments. Era of 1988. In mint pre-owned Condition, the chrome is in excellent condition. Features separate turning dry cell chamber. The turning cell is somewhat stiff but turnable. The line you see in the main photo is just a reflection of the lighting in the photo booth, it is NOT a scratch At one time Van Cort Instruments were one of the top Kaleidoscope manufacturers in America until they closed their Business in the mid-1990s. The Lucida was one of the first kaleidoscopes they produced. This kaleidoscope was made in the 1988 era. This beautiful brass kaleidoscope is 5" long and 1 5/16" in diameter. The base is 4" long, 7/8" wide and 7/8" tall.

What a wonderful find to find this Lucida in such good condition. Good condition for a 1988 kaleidoscope.
