Vintage Kaleidoscope, 1991 "Twilight" Handheld Handmade by Artists Shelly and Randy Knapp. In Excellent condition. These were loved for over 20 years and well cared for and are from Jeff's Collection.
Twilight Was made in 1991 thru 1995 or so. Lovely oak veneer Exterior. handheld. cell type is oil filled turning end Gold anodized eyepiece and turning collar. 2 mirror 5 point symmetry. Magnification lens and black background side light no dichroic windows . Dichroic Flame worked glass and a hint of orange were always present in the oil filled chamber. Of the Knapp's early scopes this was one of My personal favorite models.
Dimensions are approx. 7 1/4 inches long. We have added a rosewood base origionally these did not come with a base at all. This one is in wonderful Great condition.
The Knapp's were born and raised in Oregon and still reside and have their kaleidoscope studio there.
