This beauty is made of acrylic and has a colorful vinyl. Galaxy-themed wrap. The object cell does indeed turn separately - another great value at this price point. A Fantastic Colorful Image is inside(2 Mirror 6 Point Star image) thanks to its Femo Clay filled OIL Cell. Vibrant and pastel shades of Pink with White also float through medical grade mineral oil in front of the black background in the object cell. It also has a dust cover which is opened and closed with the switch by the eyepiece. This scope is a great value! We are excited about this scope by the Color Spirits!!!
Dimensions of this kaleidoscope are Stands 9 inches tall is 2 inches at the Eyepiece and is 2 3/4 at the Separate Turning Oil filled Chamber.

Pros:I love that there is a dust cover on it. I have kaleidoscopes that are far more expensive that don't.

5Did you ever want to come across a magic eye? Unwind and relax from the known reality? This is what "Galaxy" from Karl Schilling is all about. Discovering and exploring universes, supernovas, colors you have never seen; sensing and finally seeing fascinating new magical realities; that is all possible with this amazing kaleidoscope. "Galaxy " is definetely pure magic. It reminded me immediately of Harry Potter finding a fascinating gadget. Rotating the oil filled cell fast, slow, wait and marvel at the beautiful handcrafted crystals and mirrors creating images he has never seen. Slowly rotating back and forth producing wonder after wonder. This kaleidoscope is amazing. The beautiful exterior is perfectly chosen and Galaxy belongs to my worthiest possessions.
