Yes, we normally do ship to Canada and internationally to many countries. However, due to the current trade war that President Trump has initiated, shipping to Canada has become very difficult for us. High tariff amounts are being charged upon delivery, and we’ve experienced too many orders being refused because of these unexpected fees. Unfortunately, this has resulted in losses for our small business.

For this reason, we have temporarily paused all international shipping until the trade situation improves.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT DUTIES AND TAXES TO ALL FOREIGN COUNTRIES

Even though the online shipping quote is provided by UPS and FedEx, it does not include Value Added Taxes, import duties or taxes. We may not be informed of these additional charges until 10 days after shipment. Here at Kaleidoscopes To You, we are constantly learning more about these taxes but we cannot be informed of all countries policies. We ask that you contact your local shipping depot or local government for tax and duty estimates for shipments coming from the US since these taxes or fees must often be paid to the delivery driver at the time of delivery.

UPS and FedEx does not include duties or taxes in the shipping quote on your order. The shipping charge on your order covers only the transportation costs. We have received reports from customers a week after their shipment that duties of up to 20 % to 30% of value are being charged upon arrival.

Transit times are also dependent upon clearing customs which can delay your shipment of kaleidoscopes as well.

UPS Ground service to Canada usually takes 6 - 7 working days for transit. This service does depend upon size of the box and over all weight. An example of a 12 x 6 x 6 box 2 lb box has been running around $13.50 to $18.50.
