The “Elixir” kaleidoscope is a vintage, limited-edition collectible created in 2005 by celebrated artists Paul and Susan Knox, during a time when master kaleidoscope makers were producing some of the finest handheld instruments ever made.

This model was commissioned as a limited edition of only 100 pieces by Mary Margaret Gibson, founder of the respected kaleidoscope gallery Mirrors and Light. We were fortunate to acquire the remaining new old stock inventory, making this a rare opportunity to own an untouched example of this sought-after work.

Today, Paul and Susan Knox have retired from kaleidoscope making, and their work has become increasingly difficult to find—especially in new old stock condition. “Elixir” remains one of their most beloved and collector-favorite designs.
